SUITE SALES & SERVICES INTERN

DEPARTMENT: Suite Sales & Services
TYPE: Part Time/Seasonal Internship (30-40 hours)
REPORTS TO: Sr. Suite Sales Executive
COMPENSATION: Course credit only
DURATION: January-May 2010
POSTING DATE: October 4, 2009

RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
• Maintain a detailed customer database of all clients and prospects
• Assist in the creation and implementation of sales related collateral materials
• Assist Suite Sales Executives with game day responsibilities
• Responsible for large mailings of sales materials
• Must be able to work home games and any potential NBA Playoff games-please note games may fall on holidays and must be willing to work
• Coordinate all Rockets Power Dancer suite visits and photos during game day/Third Party Events
• Assist with additional ticket requests on day of the event
• Regular box office visits to process suite rental orders or additional ticket requests
• Arrange courier service for high importance ticket delivery
• Must be a self starter and have the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• College student, junior or senior with a Business, Marketing or Sales related major
• Must be able to work days and evenings
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office software
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals
• Have a passion to work in the sports industry
