GRAPHICS INTERN

The Graphics Intern will assist the graphic designers with design and production work for various print projects. This will be a "hands-on" position with a potential for multiple responsibilities.

This position is non-paid and must be approved for course credit by a career advisor. Please note: Applicants will be required to submit samples of their work as part of the application process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design one-off flyers, signage, and ads for the Rockets and Toyota Center
• Assist designers in research, design and production for larger projects
• Design within established deadlines and budgets
• Day to Day organizational tasks as requested by the Graphic Designers

QUALIFICATIONS:
• In process of acquiring a degree or certificate in fine art or graphic design.
• An understanding of print production processes.
• Basic knowledge and familiarity of the NBA industry – Teams, high profile players, mascots, etc. 
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Mac-based design applications such as: Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, In-Design etc. Other technical knowledge a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a design team environment.
• Positive attitude, professionalism and desire to learn.
